ISW analysts have revealed the details.
The Ukrainian military is carrying out active counterattacks and knocked out the occupants from positions west of Kreminna in Luhansk Region. This is stated in a new report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
The analysts point out that Russian occupiers were recently able to infiltrate south of the town of Kreminna. According to an April 8 geolocation video, the enemy was able to make localised progress in the area of chalk quarries south of Bilohorivka, which is south of Kreminna.
Also, on April 9, a Russian blogger reported that the Russian occupiers were fighting for tactical heights in the area of the quarry. It is noted that they have managed to capture limited positions on this section of the front. The Institute for the Study of War confirms this data, citing geolocation videos confirming this.
However, Russian sources also reported fierce fighting near Terny, west of Kreminna. Russian troops are losing limited positions due to constant Ukrainian counterattacks.
