The Ukrainian Armed Forces have established a special corridor.
The "Orion" unit of the Ukrainian National Guard has established a robotic corridor near Kupiansk to deliver supplies directly to the front lines. The unit reported this, adding that in just one month, thanks to this corridor, 85 combat missions were carried out and 30,257 kilograms of cargo were delivered undetected by the enemy, according to unian.net.
“We have dispelled the stereotype that supplying the army requires convoys of trucks and hundreds of soldiers under targeted fire. Our robotic systems are the ‘silent lifeblood’ of the front lines. When the enemy thinks our positions are depleted, a tracked platform quietly rolls in in the middle of the night and delivers a metric ton of ammunition. “99.57% of our missions are successful,” noted Vladislav Zolotarev , an officer with the Orion unit’s headquarters command group .
The unit cited an example of one such operation that took place in September. At that time, a soldier at the position suffered a flare-up of a stomach ulcer. Due to internal bleeding, the soldier could not wait to be evacuated from the position. Therefore, his commanders dispatched a robotic platform to him, which evacuated the soldier and safely transported him to medical personnel.
Against this backdrop, as noted by the unit, Russia has launched a hunt for “Orion” robots. Specialized aerial reconnaissance crews and strike UAVs are targeting them, tracking down and destroying exclusively ground-based logistics.
“The enemy is hunting our ‘hardware’ more fiercely than armored vehicles because they understand that our robots render their attrition tactics ineffective. But we analyze their every move and carry out our missions without putting people at risk,” added Vladislav Zolotarev.
