Israel is studying Kyiv's experience in confronting Russia.

Israel is studying Ukraine’s experience in the use of drones and countering them, and is investing significant resources in the development of new technologies to defend against drones. Particular attention is being paid to countering the threat from Iran.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made this statement during a meeting with media representatives on the eve of the elections, according to “Ukrinform”.

Responding to a question from journalist Shimon Briman about the lessons of Russia’s war against Ukraine and the threat posed by Iranian drones to Israel, Netanyahu noted that the Ukrainian experience is being studied around the world.

“What Ukraine has learned—and what the whole world is analyzing—is both how to fight against drones and how to fight with the help of drones. And this is the biggest change; this is the strongest impact of the war in Ukraine on the global stage,” said the Israeli prime minister.

According to him, drones have become the main technological shift in the conduct of warfare. Israel is developing countermeasures against various types of drones. Scientists, military experts, and technology companies are involved in this work.

Netanyahu stated that Iran’s transfer of such capabilities to Russia runs counter to Israel’s interests.

He also highlighted the work of Israeli defense companies and startups on new solutions.

“I believe that we will offer the world solutions both in the field of drones themselves and in the field of drone defense,” the Israeli prime minister noted.

Parliamentary elections are being held in Israel on October 27.
