Middle East 'queues Up' For Ukraine's Help

Ukraine has already started making historic agreements with Middle Eastern countries on defense against Iranian drones. The work continues.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the evening address of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

The head of state said that his visit to the Middle East was very useful. There he felt a good attitude towards Ukraine - Ukrainian warriors and expertise.

The President noted that the Gulf countries have a common vision to work with Ukraine and Ukrainian experts.

"There are agreements now, these are historic agreements: Ukraine and Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar. We are also working with Jordan and Kuwait. Now in the region Rustem Umerov (Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine - ed.), he continues negotiations at the political level - today he reported to me - there are already additional requests from Bahrain and Oman," - said the head of the Ukrainian state.

Zelensky said that for the Ukrainian defense system and the skills of Ukrainian warriors he counts on cooperation in the field of security.

"We have already agreed on the possibility of strengthening air defense, joint development of defense production and also on energy cooperation. This concerns, in particular, diesel and other things that we need so much now," the president added.
