Moscow is actively ramping up its weapons production, relying on Belarusian components.
Belarus continues to actively assist Russia in missile production. This was demonstrated by analyses of the “Iskander-M” and “Oreshnik” cluster missiles that Russia used in its strike on May 24 near Bila Tserkva. This was stated by the Ukrainian President’s Representative on Sanctions Policy Vladislav Vlasyuk.
The representative of the President of Ukraine stated that Moscow is actively ramping up weapons production, relying on its own and Belarusian component bases. According to him, in the “Oreshnik” missile examined by Ukrainian experts, all identified parts were manufactured exclusively by Russian and Belarusian factories.
“The role of Belarusian manufacturers—primarily ‘Integral’ and the ‘Transistor’ plant—is particularly significant, as their products are regularly found in modern Russian missiles,” Vlasyuk said (quoted from RBC-Ukraine).
According to him, more than half of the parts in the “Oreshnik” were manufactured in 2023–2024, and some components are dated 2025.
A significant number of components from recent years were also found in the cluster-type “Iskander-M,” including those manufactured in Belarus, as well as in the U.S., Taiwan, Switzerland, Japan, and China.
“The most important conclusion from these studies is that Russian missile production continues to operate. We see new components, we see the involvement of Belarusian enterprises, and we see that certain foreign technologies are still finding their way into Russian weapons,” Vlasyuk emphasized (quoted by “Interfax-Ukraine”).
