A series of explosions also rocked Feodosia and Alushta.
On the night of July 22, occupied Crimea came under drone attack. A series of explosions rocked Feodosia, Alushta, and Yalta; reports of strikes are circulating online.
In one of Yalta’s districts, the power went out following the “strikes.” This was reported by the monitoring channel “Crimean Wind.”
“After the explosions in Yalta, a bright flash was observed, likely in the area of Darsan Hill,” analysts write.
According to observers, the “Darsan” electrical substation is located in this area. Drones had previously “flown” there, leading analysts to speculate that strikes on this facility could have caused power outages.
In addition, drones attacked Alushta in Crimea overnight. According to monitoring channels, the power went out there as well following the drone strikes. The OSINT channel “Exilenova+” reports that the city’s energy infrastructure was also targeted by the drones.
In Feodosia, amid a drone attack, a series of explosions and gunfire from the occupiers’ mobile fire teams could be heard as they attempted to shoot down UAVs over the city.
“In Feodosia, mobile fire teams tried to shoot down the drones, but to no avail; subscribers report that the smell of burning is noticeable in the city,” writes “Crimean Wind.”
The occupying authorities have not yet commented on the attacks on the region. As of this writing, there has been no official confirmation of strikes on energy facilities.
As a reminder, on the night of July 21, monitoring channels reported that following drone strikes near Simferopol, a large logistics center belonging to a well-known company was on fire.
