What Would Happen To Your Body If You Didn't Eat Dinner For A Whole Year?

What Would Happen To Your Body If You Didn't Eat Dinner For A Whole Year?

In an effort to lose weight more quickly, people often stop eating dinner altogether.

However, such a strategy may have only a minor effect and, on its own, does not lead to sustainable weight loss, writes "Cursor".

In the study cited, researchers analyzed data from 139 obese adults aged 25 to 45. The participants were divided into groups with different eating schedules to assess the effect of meal timing on changes in body weight.

The results showed that restricting evening meals led to certain changes, but no significant advantage in weight loss was found. For weight loss, the overall diet and the amount of energy consumed are far more important than whether or not dinner is eaten.

At the same time, prolonged and excessive dietary restrictions can create additional problems. Insufficient nutrient intake can negatively affect the functioning of the digestive and immune systems, and an unbalanced diet is also detrimental to cardiovascular health in the long term.

Therefore, instead of completely skipping dinner, experts recommend paying attention to the composition of your last meal of the day.

You can make dinner lighter by including vegetables and a source of protein. Fish or seafood, for example, are good choices for this meal. The specific portion size and mealtime, however, depend on your overall diet, daily routine, and individual needs.
