The Adler–Minsk Train Is Significantly Behind Schedule And Is Traveling On A “detour”

The Adler–Minsk train will arrive in Belarus on September 1 approximately four hours behind schedule and will follow a modified route, according to the Belarusian Railways, citing operational information from Russian Railways.

This refers to Train No. 302/301 Adler–Minsk, which departed from Adler on August 30. Belarusian Railways cited “technical reasons” for the delay, without providing further details.

Meals will be provided for the train’s passengers at Mogilev-2 Station—they will be served directly on the train. Efforts will be made to reduce the delay once the train enters Belarus.

In addition, on September 1, an extra train, No. 691 Gomel–Minsk, has been scheduled for passengers who purchased tickets in advance from stations along the Gomel–Minsk route. It will depart from Gomel at 12:53 p.m. and will make stops according to the schedule of the Adler–Minsk train.

Note that on the night of September 1, a massive drone attack took place in Russia. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, from 8:00 p.m. on August 31 to 8:00 a.m. on September 1, air defense forces allegedly intercepted and destroyed 516 drones, including over the Rostov, Voronezh, Kursk, Bryansk, and Smolensk regions.

BelZhD did not specify whether the delay of the Adler–Minsk train was related to the attack.
