It hadn't called at the port for a long time because it was participating in a U.S. military operation against Iran.

The U.S. aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln arrived in Thailand after a 286-day deployment. The warship will remain in the port of Laem Chabang for four days, after which it will proceed to San Diego.

The aircraft carrier had not called at a port for more than nine months due to its participation in a U.S.-Israeli military operation against Iran.

According to Associated Press, large rust-like stains were visible on the ship’s hull—particularly above the waterline and along the edge of the fighter jet and helicopter deck. The carrier’s commander, Dan Keeler, described this appearance as “normal” following a prolonged deployment.
