Местный беспредельщик Саша по заказу ростовщика Баруха, показал ростовщику Жоре, что присланный им Моня по своим закладным денег не получит, а если Жора будет против, то Моне сделают плохо. И бабе его.

Berezovsky's history is replete with fabricated allegations of assassination attempts and assassination plots against his life by Russian intelligence services. His refusal to confirm or deny that he testified at Zeltser's trial in Minsk, attributing it to the possibility that disclosure of his whereabouts at any given time could result in an assassination attempt against his life, is part of parcel of his exaggerated egotistical psyche that has been played out on the world stage for all too long. Few in Russia, and in the west, will give any credence to Berezovsky's allegation of assassination attempt against his life in Belarus. HIs disinformation campaigns of assassinations, and of assassination attempts, allegedly authorized by the leadership of Russia that he has waged have come to be regarded as something akin to buffoonery.

As Paul Klebnikov revealed in his seminal work on Berezovsky in Godfather of the Kremlin: Boris Berezovsky and the Looting of Russia, Berezovsky has historically employed assassination attempts to inflate his self-importance. This from Klebnikov quoting then prime minister, Sergei Kiriyenko, following Alexander Litvinenko's staged public performance of an FSB plot against Berezovsky in April 1998: "Most knowledge observers concluded that the alleged FSB plat to assassinate Berezovsky was a fabrication...I doubt the FSB ever planned any action against Berezovsky. I think that Berezovsky was just trying to play up his own importance and attract attention to himself." (Page 297).

Convenient that Litvinenko's tragic death from ingestion of polonium 210 will forever bar the possibility of the public learning the truth behind his staged performance of the FSB plot to assassinate Berezovsky, a fabricated assassination plot that ironically resulted in the firing of Berezovsky's nemesis, Nikolai Kovalev, with Berezovsky installing none other Vladimir Putin as Kovalev's replacement as the head of the FSB. Litvinenko, a member of the notoriously feared KGB/FSB organized crime squad, moonlighted as Berezovsky's bodyguard at that time and had worked for Berezovsky on a number of Chechen kidnapping cases, where he is alleged to have brokered weapons sales with Chechen terrorists in exchange for hostages on Berezovsky's behalf.

Not without significance is that Berezovsky and his entourage of for-hire, has-been, disinformation specialists that he recruited to testify at Zeltser's trial, are Zeltser's only accusers. Berezovsky stands alone. Patarkatsishvili's widow, Ina Gudavadze, and her attorney, Lord Philip Goldsmith, withdrew their claims against Zeltser and have refused to collaborate with Belarusian prosecutors in their case against Zeltser. If there was a shred of evidence that Zeltser is guilty as charged of possession of fraudulent documents or of commercial espionage, it stands to reason that Gudavadze would not have withdrawn from the claims made by Berezovsky' and his attorney, Michele Duncan, but rather would have presented the evidence obtained by Belarusian prosecutors to courts with competent jurisdiction to expedite the release of Patarkatsishvili's $12 billion estate.

The medical prognosis for Zeltser's survival is dire. If he does not survive his arrest and incarceration, an arrest and incarceration orchestrated by Berezovsky, his death will prove to be more damming to Berezovsky then the disinformation campaign he has waged against the leadership of Russia. He could find himself facing murder charges in the UK.

Russia's non interventionist policy in demanding Berezovsky's extradition to Russia from Belarus is indicative that they view Berezovsky's orchestration of the arrest of Zeltser as yet another nail in Berezovsky's coffin, preferring to allow what is proving to be the farcical trial of the century to be played out before the leadership of the western world. It is a policy that appears to be calculated to give Berezovsky enough rope to hang himself at the expense of Zeltser's life--a policy that may well come back to haunt them as a crime as egregious as Berezovsky's crime when he kowningly colluded with Lukaschenko to fly Zeltser on his private jet into the waiting arms of the Belarusian KGB into what may prove to be a death trap.
