10 days of arrest for placing WC pan near monument to Lenin (Photo)

A “Young Front” activist stood a trial for a performance on Lenin’s birthday anniversary.
Mikhail Illyin was accused of hooliganism and got 10 days of administrative arrest.
It should be reminded, on April 22, on the 139th anniversary of birthday of the totalitarian USSR ruler Vladimir Lenin, Brest activists of “Young Front” held a performance – they placed a WC pan near a monument to Lenin and put toilet paper near.
On April 23, at 6.00 a.m., militia officers visited an apartment of Mikhail Illyin and guarded him to the Leninski district militia department of Brest.
Illyin didn’t denied at the trial it was he who had placed a WC pan near the monument to Lenin on the main square of Brest and put toilet paper near on April 22. According to the “Young Front” activist, by this action he expressed his attitude towards communism and the cult of Lenin, still existing in Belarus.
