The results of exit polls for parliamentary elections have appeared in Poland, writes onet.pl.

Five parties are running for parliament. According to the poll, the ruling Law and Justice party wins - 36.8%.

The opposition Civic Coalition, which includes the party of former Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's Civic Platform, showed a high result - 31.68 per cent.

The Third Way party came third with 13.0 per cent.

Fourth place went to the Left with 8.6 per cent.

The fifth place went to the right-populist Confederation party - 6.2%.

It should be noted that despite the victory of the ruling party, the opposition has a real chance to make the government.

A record 72.9 per cent of voters turned out to participate in the election. In some cities people were queuing for four hours to vote.

The national referendum, according to preliminary data, did not take place. It was attended by 40 per cent of voters, with the required minimum of 50 per cent.
