Ukrainian Armed Forces Launch Counter-Offensive In Western Zaporizhzhia Region

Ukrainian troops advanced in the area of the highway to Tokmak.

On November 23 and 24, Ukrainian troops carried out counter attacks in the western Zaporizhzhia region and confirmed the offensive. The Ukrainian defenders managed to occupy the westernmost trench of the three, located approximately 1 km from Robotyne.

This is stated in the analysis of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW). It is noted that additional geolocation footage from November 22 and 23 indicates the advance of Ukrainian defense forces in the area of the T0408 Orikhove-Tokmak highway north of Novoprokopivka.

In recent days, Russian “military correspondents” have claimed that Ukrainian defenders have resumed their attack on Russian positions along the Robotyne-Verbove line. It involves up to 100 personnel, five armored vehicles and one Western tank.

The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the invaders allegedly repelled Ukrainian attacks near Robotyne and Verbove. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian troops continued offensive operations in the Melitopol direction on November 23 and 24.
