Military Transport Aircraft Landed On M1 Highway Near Ivatsevichy

Traffic movement on the site was limited from 9.00 to 16.00.

An-26 military transport aircraft landed near Ivatsevichi on the M1 highway. Head of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus Viktar Khrenin and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakou watched the landing, the defense department reported.

Landing training on the airfield section of the road takes place during the operational-strategic exercise of the CSTO “Combat Brotherhood - 2023”. It began in Belarus on September 1 and should end this week.

Judging by the announcement of the regional traffic police, the plane landed on the section of the M1 highway in the area between the intersections with P6 and P43. That is, not far from Ivatsevichy.

Traffic movement on the site was limited from 9.00 to 16.00, a bypass is organized along the P2 highway.

The joint operational-strategic exercise of the CSTO “Combat Brotherhood - 2023” is being held on the territory of Belarus from September 1 to 6. The firing grounds and areas of the Brest, Hrodna and Minsk regions are involved.
