Relatives of convicted persons cannot arrange parcels.

In Belarusian correctional colonies, there is a global failure of online stores created by the Department of Corrections (DoC) to form regular parcels — 50 kg of goods can be collected in a virtual basket and paid for on the website. It seems like they can't find smart programmers, writes Mayday.team.

Store websites appear to be working outwardly, but problems occur after users register or log into their personal account with an authorized user. Over the past two weeks, relatives of convicted prisoners have been seeing an “error 403” message.

Such problems are observed, at least, in Mahiliou penal colony #15, Vitsebsk penal colony #3, and Homel women’s colony #4. “Error 403” means that the client was successfully authenticated, but is not allowed to access the resource. The reason for this error, according to programmers, is incorrect site settings by the resource administrator.

Users note that virtually all the time the colony store sites existed, they had to call technical support, and management was carried out manually. This means that for three years DoC has not been able to find programmers with the necessary qualifications to restore online orders. It is important to note that the first such stores appeared in March 2021.
