MEP Isabel Santos Supports Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk

There has been no contact with the political prisoner for more than two months.
Isabel Santos, a member of the European Parliament from Portugal, supported the political prisoner and activist of the European Belarus Civil Campaign Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk.
“On the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with Belarus, I expressed my absolute solidarity and support to Palina Sharenda-Panasiuk and other political prisoners in Belarus.
Your courage will always be recognised. Your struggle will always be ours!" the MEP wrote on X.

It should be noted that the other day, Palina's husband Andrei Sharenda said that he learned from sources in the colony that Palina had been held in a punishment cell all February.
"What is happening to Palina now, and what state of her health is still unknown. There has been no communication with her since January 8," the husband of the political prisoner said.
