One and a half thousand soldiers will arrive.

In November, Poland will host large-scale military exercises related to the possible deployment of a European contingent to Ukraine following a ceasefire. This was reported by the British newspaper The Times.

At least 1,500 military personnel from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Poland will take part in the exercises.

The focus will be on troop deployment and logistical support: the delivery of fuel, food, and other essential supplies. The military will assess how quickly and effectively the allies can organize such an operation.
According to The Times, the British side has already confirmed the exercises.

London and Paris are advocating for the establishment of European security guarantees for Ukraine. One possible scenario involves the deployment of foreign troops following a ceasefire. Their presence is intended to deter Russia from further aggression.

Poland is set to play a key role in this regard by ensuring and coordinating the operation.

However, this is currently only about preparing for a possible scenario, not a decision to send troops to Ukraine. The timing and conditions of such a mission have not yet been determined.
