The Turkish company Baykar tested the Bayraktar TB2 strike drone as a carrier for 16 Skydagger FPV kamikaze drones, two of which hit their targets during the test. In addition to launching the drones, the TB2 served as a communications relay to control the small drones.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing Baykar and the company’s Instagram post.

On November 4, the Turkish company Baykar released a video of a test in which a Bayraktar TB2 took off with 16 Skydagger FPV kamikaze drones. Baykar’s Technical Director Selçuk Bayraktar posted the footage with the caption “16 x FPV Drone Drop Test.”
According to the company, the TB2 took off from the Flight Training and Testing Center in Keshan in northwestern Turkey. Two FPV drones were released from it at the test site. After separation, the TB2 served as an aerial relay: ground operators used it to control the drones, which struck specific targets.
Baykar reports that the average range of the FPV drones on the battlefield is about 15 km. Integration with the TB2, according to the company, allows targets to be struck at significantly greater distances. Baykar did not specify when exactly the tests took place or what happened to the remaining 14 drones.
The launch container, the DAGGER POD, was developed by Skydagger. It is designed to carry 16 FPV drones and features a modular design that can be adapted to various platforms.
On Baykar’s website, the TB2 is described as a MALE (medium-altitude, long-endurance) platform with a wingspan of 12 m and a payload capacity of up to 150 kg. Its maximum takeoff weight is 700 kg, and its flight duration exceeds 18 hours. The company claims to have signed export agreements for the TB2 with 36 countries.
