In St. Petersburg, The Mobile Internet Has Been Turned Off

Complaints started coming in en masse on the morning of May 2.

Another mobile Internet outage has been recorded in the Russian city of St. Petersburg: users report that only the so-called "white list" of sites is available. Complaints began to arrive in the morning of May 2 and quickly reached several thousand.

Russian Telegram channels write about it, reports Charter97.org

According to Downdetector, complaints from users began to arrive from 7:00 Moscow time, and by 11:50 their number reached 2.4 thousand. Residents of the city note that there is access only to sites from the "white list", while other resources, messengers and game servers are unavailable.

The governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko earlier announced the threat of drone attacks and warned of a "possible decrease in the speed of mobile Internet".

Similar outages in St. Petersburg occur regularly. In particular, a large-scale disruption was recorded on April 5 - then more than 1.8 thousand complaints were received after the air danger was declared. Outages also occurred on March 17 and March 9, and each time Drozdenko reported the threat of UAVs and reduced speed.
