On June 11, Alexander Lukashenko made a number of personnel appointments, according to a Telegram channel close to his press service. Lukashenko also approved the appointment of new chairmen of district executive committees. The Petrikov District will be headed by Yevgeny Shkrobot, and Andrei Klyshevsky will become chairman of the Oshmyany District Executive Committee.

Yevgeny Sobolevsky has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Libya on a concurrent basis, while Alexander Ogorodnikov — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Afghanistan concurrently.

Alexander Ivanitsky has been appointed Head of the Department of Nuclear and Radiation Safety at the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Gennady Aktilovich will take up the post of head of the Main Directorate for Handling Appeals from Citizens and Legal Entities within Lukashenko’s Administration, while Yuri Khomutovsky will head the Directorate of Regional Policy within the same structure.

Oleg Sadovsky has been appointed chairman of the State Control Committee of the Gomel Region, and Alexey Iglikov has been appointed a member of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

Nadezhda Yurashevich has become deputy head of the Organizational and Analytical Department of the so-called Standing Committee of the “Union State,” and Olga Vasilevskaya—deputy head of the so-called Department of Social Policy and Information Support of the same committee.
