Blogger Laura Lummer, who is close to Donald Trump, considers Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s decision to close Ukraine’s airspace to Russian aircraft to be right and fair. The MAGA activist wrote about this on the social media platform X.

Lumer noted that Ukraine has “been without civil aviation for years” due to the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation’s occupying army.

In her opinion, Zelenskyy must ensure that civilian aviation flights are impossible in Russia. “It’s simply madness that Russia has been allowed to operate civilian aviation for so long, while planes cannot fly to Ukraine… The only way to get there is by train or car, but the Russians are firing missiles and drones at them,” Lumer emphasized.

The well-known American MAGA activist reacted this way to Zelenskyy’s warning about closing Russian airspace, which he issued on Tuesday, September 1, in response to the intensifying strikes by the Russian occupation army on Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces deliberately do not target civilian infrastructure in Russia, including airports. However, some Russian airports may be at risk due to UAVs, as Ukraine is attacking military and strategic targets on Russian territory.
