The convicts chanted in the courtroom: “We believe! We can! We will win!"

An illegal trial of activists of the civil campaign European Belarus, one of the leaders of the opposition Pavel Seviarynets and activist Iryna Schastnaya ended in the Mahiliou regional court.

The "trial" was closed, but relatives were allowed into the courtroom at the last moment.

Judge Iryna Lanchova presided over the "trial."

She sentenced political prisoners to long terms in colonies:

- Pavel Seviarynets, co-chairman of the organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party, was sentenced to 7 years in a maximum-security penal colony;

- Coordinator of the campaign European Belarus Yauhen Afnahel was sentenced to 7 years in a maximum-security penal colony;

- Activist of the campaign European Belarus Andrei Voynich was sentenced to 7 years in a maximum-security penal colony;

- Activist of the campaign European Belarus Maksim Viniarski was sentenced to 5 years in a maximum-security penal colony;

- Activist of the campaign European Belarus Pavel Yukhnevich was sentenced to 5 years in a maximum-security penal colony;

- Activist of the campaign European Belarus, blogger of the Gray Cat YouTube channel Dzmitry Kazlou was sentenced to 5 years in a maximum-security penal colony;

- Activist and editor of telegram channels (“My Country Belarus” among them) Iryna Schastnaya was sentenced to in 4 years a general regime colony.

The leaders of the Belarusian revolution chanted in the courtroom: “We believe! We can! We will win!"
