Russian Propagandists Accuse Each Other Of Disinformation

The fake was quickly exposed.

A number of Z-war correspondents published footage of Russian Armed Forces soldiers practicing at a training ground, claiming that it was an assault on Ukrainian Vuhledar. The fake was quickly exposed.

The video was distributed by the first deputy commander of the Russian Armed Forces regiment, Yuri Gagarin. It quickly spread across Z-channels. It was also posted by the former “deputy minister of information” of the so-called DPR Daniil Bezsonov (real name Ruslan Baklan). It is still on his Telegram channel, Dialog reports.

“This is what one of the assaults of the Russian Armed Forces near Vuhledar looks like. Fast and bold. Of course, after preliminary artillery preparation,” the propagandist wrote.

It was very quickly discovered that the “bold assault” was footage of Russian soldiers maneuvering at a training ground. Even Z-channels are laughing at the fake.

“Why... they show a video of soldiers training and pass it off as footage of a real assault, only God knows... He must have made a mistake, you can't lie,” wrote a Russian military man under the nickname “Uncle Zhora's Dugout.” The Z-channel “RosgVardeets” was even more harsh. “I glanced at this video yesterday. I thought some kind of (nonsense — edit.) was going on. I didn't go into details. And then there it is. It turns out that the full namesake of the famous cosmonaut is commenting on a video of soldiers training and it's all signed off as a real assault. This is of course a fiasco, but the average person will like it. But for the amusement of others, including the enemy. I'm tempted to say: Yura, we are all...,” the propagandist wrote.
