Congress may cut off funding to the agencies responsible for the restrictions.

U.S. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick threatened to push for a suspension of funding for federal agencies if it turns out that U.S. authorities have restricted the Ukrainian military’s access to Starlink satellite communications, according to The Wall Street Journal.

“If we start cutting off Ukraine’s communications, there will be consequences—believe me,” Fitzpatrick said. According to him, Congress could cut off funding to the agencies responsible for the restrictions. “Agencies will not receive funding if they fail to fulfill their duties,” the congressman stated.

According to the WSJ, Ukrainian diplomat Denis Sienik sent an urgent message to U.S. lawmakers regarding problems with the use of Starlink military terminals.
