Рютте в Киеве сделал заявление о членстве Украины в НАТО

Украина защищает это самое НАТО, пока оно думает, принимать её или не принимать. К Рютте это не относится, он бы принял без лишних слов.

Став во главе НАТО, Рютте сделает все, чтобы уничтожить рашизм.

I don't see NATO membership happening if the current conditions are present. No way will Americans tolerate their soldiers and airmen fighting in Eastern Ukraine against Russians.

There is no will in aftermath from the huge losses both economic and in US Soldiers lives and health in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Having said that, providing weapons and ammunition so that Ukraine is able to defend against and indeed defeat Putin is certainly in the Western interests.
