The Deputy Commander Of The Russian Volunteer Corps Was Abducted From Outside His Own Home

The RDK headquarters is sounding the alarm.

The deputy commander of the RDK Stepan Kaplunov went missing a few days ago near his home. Headquarters states that they still do not know his whereabouts.

This was reported by the Russian Volunteer Corps.

According to the Chief of Staff of the Russian Volunteer Corps Alexander Fortuna, following Kaplunov’s disappearance, representatives of the Russian Volunteer Corps contacted the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the State Bureau of Investigations.

“To date, we have not received any concrete information regarding either Stepan’s whereabouts or the charges brought against him,” Fortuna stated.

He added that the RVK leadership continues to monitor the situation. The details of the case were also reported to the ombudsmen, and attorneys have submitted the relevant inquiries.

Separately, Fortuna pointed out that Kaplunov was awarded a medal about a month ago, and now, according to him, he finds himself in custody.

“If Ukraine is a state governed by the rule of law—and not a territory sliding into lawlessness and total lawlessness by security forces, as is the case, for example, in the Russian Federation—then this is simply unacceptable,” emphasized the RDK chief of staff.
