Lukashenko Launched A Surprise Inspection Of The Interior Ministry's Internal Troops

This is the first time such an inspection has been conducted.

An operational readiness inspection has begun at the 7th Separate Special Police Brigade of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, stationed in Vitebsk. The inspection was initiated by dictator Lukashenko. According to BelTA, Belarusian Security Council Secretary Alexander Volfovich today handed the corresponding order to bring the unit to combat readiness to Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov.

Volfovich noted that a large-scale inspection of state agencies involved in the national security system is continuing throughout the country. Earlier, last week, Lukashenko had already ordered that the 51st Artillery Brigade be brought to full combat readiness.

According to the Secretary of the Security Council, it is no secret that the dictator has set the task of inspecting other structures within the country’s military organization as well.

“In particular, one of the main ones is the Ministry of Internal Affairs. “Therefore, today the Minister of Internal Affairs was handed an order to bring the 7th Separate Special Police Brigade of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Internal Troops, stationed in Vitebsk, to combat readiness in accordance with its intended purpose,” Volfovich clarified.

As the Secretary of the Security Council noted, this is the first time in the agency’s history that such a combat readiness inspection has been conducted within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
