Washington is warning Iran's allies.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent called on all countries, particularly Russia, not to assist Iran and to “stay away.” He made this statement on Fox News, according to ClashReport.
The journalist said that yesterday the Russians met with Iranian officials and essentially told them, “We support you; we will help you.”
“What would you say to the Russians?” the host asked.
“Listen, my message to everyone is: stay out of it. We all want this conflict to end. And the quickest way to end this conflict is for no one to provide any support to this regime.
We intend to sever all ties they have with the outside world. For example, last Friday we imposed sanctions on the Dubai branches of an Egyptian bank, which have provided the regime with more than $1.8 billion since 2025. And we intend to systematically analyze the situation and eliminate every such unscrupulous player,” replied the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury.
As a reminder, Belarusian dictator Lukashenko has consistently supported the Ayatollahs’ regime and stated that he is ready to discuss any issues with Iran—from cooperation on food supplies to the military-technical sphere.
