The presidential election in Belarus is to take place on December 19. Candidates of the democratic opposition have stated they will run. For 16 years the power in the country had been usurped by Alyaksandr Lukashenka. The results of elections and referenda o all the years o his tenure were rigged and not recognized y the world community. In case fraudulent vote repeats, opposition leaders call upon the Belarusian nation to defend their choice on the square.
